Introduction

The inscription “10. VÝROČIE VSTUPU DO EURÓPSKEJ ÚNIE” surrounds the central motif at the top. This phrase means “10th anniversary of membership of the European Union”. At the bottom, the name of the country “SLOVENSKO” is written, reinforcing the national identity. Additionally, below this text, we see the initials “MP” and the symbol of the Kremnica Mint (Mincovňa Kremnica).
The bottom of the piece is decorated with twelve stars. This symbol of the European Union forms a circle around the edge. This star circle represents the unity and harmony of EU member countries. Furthermore, the overall design of the piece reflects European integration and solidarity.
