Introduction

In addition, two specific marks also appear on the coin: that of the Royal Netherlands Mint and that of the Mint Commissioner: Giovanni Van de Velde. Finally, at the bottom right, are the initials of Iris Bruijns, the designer of the coin.
In the background, intertwined circles and lines add a dynamic touch to the design. In this way, these patterns evoke the idea of connection and community, which are important values carried by the National Lottery. Finally, twelve stars adorn the edge of the coin, in accordance with the rules of the euro coins. This symbolises the unity and harmony between the members of the European Union.
